I'm voting Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe people aren't entitled to at least half of their earnings, as long as we make things "fair".
I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.
I'm voting Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my @#% it's unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

by the way james, how many people have tried to rob your home. That is why people get alarms. someone tries to get in, alarm goes off, scares them away, cops quickly come to investigate. I don't see the need for a gun. do u?
I do see a need for a gun. I will explain in a post coming asap. If you don't agree with the first part of that statement then what do you think about America? Are with Michelle Obama and not proud? Do you not believe we are the greatest nation earth? Please share your beliefs.
America is THE MOST POWERFUL NATION ON EARTH
that doesnt necissarily mean that it is the greatest, although i see it that way, and am proud to be American. America needs to understand that as the greatest, it should watch out for others and help them. (think a big brother with little siblings.)
but you have to understand, it will never stay that way,EVER. America may some day fall from its great perch and just become a great, but not superpower nation, like Britain. America may even collapse some day, in the far future
Rome was the most powerful nation in the world, it collapsed. the mongol empire was the largest land empire ever, conquering all opposition, and it collapsed. The USSR was the strongest nation on earth, AND IT COLLAPSED. see a trend here?
Not to say America will fall apart in the next couple hundred years, but u never know.
America does help other nations if you havent realized it. 19 countries are now free democracies as a result of America. We are the largest giver of foreign aid than any other country in the world. The good thing about those nations collapsing is that we can learn from them and not make those mistakes again. Clearly they did, and lets learn from them. If we do that and not lose our focus and drive of what it means to be Americans, I see no reason that would stop us from ever falling apart.
